Congratulations to Dr. Vitor Sudbrack on the successful public defense of his PhD on April 16th. His thesis and presentation were titled “Models on the evolution of genetic architecture under selection”.
His work focused on the evolutionary dynamics of the genetic architecture underlying complex traits under different selective and ecological scenarios, combining approaches from population genetics, quantitative genetics, and individual based simulations.
Following his PhD at the University of Lausanne, Vitor will be joining the lab of Himani Sachdeva at the University of Vienna as a postdoctoral researcher. We congratulate him on this achievement and wish him all the best for this next stage of his career.
